How we met
Our story began in 2016, during our first year of medical school in Chicago. Fate brought us together when we became neighbors—living just two doors down from each other. At the time, we were focused on our studies and navigating medical school, so dating wasn’t on either of our minds. But life has a funny way of bringing people closer when they least expect it.We discovered we had so much in common: a love for exploring Chicago, trying new hiking trails, a passion for health and fitness, and (sometimes comically) attempting to cook new recipes together.In 2017, after a year of friendship and adventures, we took the plunge and began dating. From then on, our relationship blossomed, and we’ve spent countless weekends exploring new cities, trying new restaurants, and finding new ways to enjoy life together.In the years since, residency has taken us to different cities, but no matter the distance, we’ve made it work. With FaceTime, Zoom calls, and visits whenever we can, our bond has only deepened, and our love has only grown stronger.As we reflect on the incredible journey we've had so far, we’re overjoyed to take the next step together and marry the love of our lives. We can’t wait to continue our adventures, and we’re so honored to share this special moment with all of you!

Have you reserved blocks for hotel rooms in the area?
Yes, we have a block reserved at the AC Hotel in Pleasanton and the Courtyard Livermore. The bride and groom are staying at the AC Hotel. If calling to book, let them know that you would like to reserve a room for the LeDuc and Riopelle wedding. There are many airbnbs in the area as well.
If I am planning on driving, is there parking available at the venue?
Parking is available at St. Michael’s for the ceremony. For the reception, if you are planning on driving, please let us know on the RSVP as Ruby Hill requires the driver’s first and last name.
What is the dress code for the wedding?
Cocktail attire, black tie optional
Will there be an open bar?
Yes, we will have an open bar.
